Blue and green cow parsley, waterproof lined, cosmetic purse

Uses:  This is such a pretty little flat bottomed , waterproof lined cosmetic purse. It makes a great present, filled with your choice of travel products, cosmetics, or just as it is. 

Size and Specification:  

 18cm wide, 13cm tall  and 4 cm deep with a 16cm top zip. The main body of the bag has a background of bluecotton with a  green and white cow parsley pattern and a bright blue zip. The lining is waterproof and white. 

 The bag can be hand washed and ironed but might shrink if you put it in the tumble dryer.

Inspiration:This plant is part of the family Umbelliferae, the same family that carrots, celery and parsley come from. Its a native biennial, prolific through the British Isles and  can be found on roadsides, banks and paths The mass of frothy white flowers in April reminds me that Spring is here and this beautiful plant filled the country church on my wedding day. Cow parsley is attractive to a large number of pollinators from orange-tip butterflies to marmalade hoverflies.  Cow parsley looks very similar to fools parsley, hedge parsley, wild carrot and the poisonous hemlock.
